Monday (Nov. 30) – December’s Graphic & Animation – “What Protecting Half Looks Like”
Facebook & Instagram
“What does it mean to Protect Half? What it DOES NOT mean is taking half of nature and building national parks without any regard for human rights. The path to half depends on indigenous communities and governments working in tandem. This infographic shows where we are now on the road to Half and the action that is needed to reach the 50% goal in time to stabilize the climate emergency, halt mass extinction, and reduce the likelihood of new pandemics.
We still have time to change course and make our world better for everyone.

One of India’s leading conservationists gets real about the Survival Revolution
Facebook:
“Protecting nature restores the climate and saves our future
The world’s remaining forests contain 100ppm carbon. We must keep carbon below 450ppm and are already at 412ppm. We must save nature in order to stabilize the climate and prevent more carbon from entering the atmosphere. Act now. There is still time!

Wednesday (Dec. 2) December’s Article Series: The Age of Extinction
Facebook:
“The Age Of Extinction series focuses on biodiversity reporting and the impacts of human driven change on wildlife. We are on track to lose 34 species a day each year if nothing changes. If we act now and protect half, we can reduce the extinction rate to 1 or less species per year.

Facebook & Twitter:
“We can achieve half through a combination of protected areas like national parks and shared lands like climate stabilization areas. Launching in 2021 a new type of protected area, Voluntary Conservation Areas, are lands that are preserved by governments, cities, and communities.
