Why 2020?

We can stop the sixth mass extinction if we protect approximately 50% of the 846 ecoregions that provide habitat for all of Earth's biodiversity. That means finding leaders and organizations around the world willing to align exisiting efforts around protecting and interconnecting nature in the region.

Our Four Areas of Focus:

  1. Story: Through stories we deliver information and inspiration that leads to choices we make about our lives and our planet.
  2. Strategy: Stories make a difference when they are experienced. Through well-designed distribution and outreach campaigns, audiences are reached and inspirational messages received.
  3. Engagement: Inspiration turns into action by establishing clear paths to support change.
  4. Impact: Creating social change happens one viewer at a time.

Our Mission

Inspired by the model pioneered by our founders, the producers of Scarred Lands & Wounded Lives, our goal is to expand the Fund’s original mission to initiate other projects.

Our criteria are two-fold: the documentaries must demonstrate a high impact potential for social change as well as the consciousness to realize the vision of More Sustainable Tomorrows. By building our capacity to be a strategic partner for select impact campaigns we can better serve humanity and the world we all share.
